The Lord kills and brings to life;
he brings down to Sheol and raises up. (1 Sam 2:6)
Some religions, and indeed some versions of Christianity, sound to me like God kills those that are out and does not kill those who are in. That is not the path of Jesus though, and it is not the Christian's path either.
